When I asked Shelby where she wanted to shoot her senior session, she told me she wanted to shoot on a dairy farm with a sweet little baby calf. I've shot in a lot of places, but a dairy farm with a baby calf was a first for me. Of course, I agreed. I'm ALWAYS up for something new!
I was excited about Shelby's shoot beforehand, but I got even more excited when we arrived and saw Sunflower. She was the sweetest, gentlest, little thing ever! I guess dairy calves are used to human interaction from the day they are born. They are bottled fed shortly after their birth, which makes them very comfortable with people. The poor girl, we even accessorized her with some pretty flower garlands. ☺ Thank you Mills River Creamery for allowing us the opportunity to shoot on your farm! ♥
Ok, enough about Sunflower. How about we talk about the HUMAN that was in the photos too. LOL Shelby is always a breeze to shoot. She's very natural in front of the camera. She has this gentle demeanor about her that I just love. With a such a beautiful natural soft smile and some of the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen, taking photos of Shelby is not really work at all. It's just a fun time hanging out together! ♥
I was so excited to get to show Shelby and her sweet mama her photos last night. There were quite a few tears shed, and only two photos out of the entire gallery that we were able to eliminate as not an absolute favorite. I think you'll understand when you scroll down and see how amazing she looks in every photo. I'm in love with the wall art we designed together, and cannot wait to see it in print and on their walls.
Thank you, Shelby and Stacey, for a really fun & unique shoot, and for just being really amazing, kind and generous people in general. I truly enjoyed our time together. ♥
